How every Sable Roan engagement works
Every engagement begins with a written outline. Before any session takes place or any materials change hands, the household receives a document stating what the service involves, what will be delivered, what it does not include, and the fee. This outline stays with the client throughout the engagement.
Work proceeds at the household's pace. For the Renewal Tracker, there is a preparatory call followed by an orientation session. For the Communication Retainer, sessions are scheduled monthly at a time that suits the family. For the Workbook, there is no fixed timeline — the household moves through it as available.
Every engagement closes with something written. The tracker leaves as a working spreadsheet; communication sessions leave as brief summaries; the workbook leaves as a completed draft. Quality assurance means these materials are checked internally before handover.

Service 01
Household Calendar & Renewal Tracker
RM 380 — one-time setup
A setup service for a household-wide renewal tracker — covering utility accounts, vehicle road tax, MyKad and passport expiry, household insurance, and any other recurring renewal items the household wants to track. Delivered alongside a printed and digital monthly calendar. Includes a one-hour orientation session to walk the household through the system before handover.
This service is administrative in scope. It does not involve advice on any regulated subject. The tracker is a tool for the household to manage its own deadlines independently once setup is complete.

- One-hour orientation session (in-person or online)
- Customised spreadsheet tracker template
- Printed monthly calendar for the current year
- Digital copy of all materials

- 2Preparatory call to list the renewal items relevant to your household.
- 3Tracker template built and orientation session scheduled.
- 4One-hour session walks through the system; printed calendar and digital files delivered.
Typical duration from enquiry to handover: 5–7 working days

Service 02
Family Communication Retainer
RM 2,860 — six-month engagement
A six-month engagement in which a communication facilitator is available to the household for one session per month of approximately ninety minutes. Each session uses a structured agenda prepared in advance, with a brief written summary provided within two working days of the session. Suitable for households that have found shared conversations about domestic matters difficult to start or sustain.
This retainer is informational. The facilitator chairs the conversation and keeps a record; they do not offer advice in legal, financial, or any other regulated field. Topics are household matters — shared belongings, renewal responsibilities, domestic routines — not matters requiring professional advice.
What is included
- Six monthly facilitated sessions (approx. 90 minutes each)
- Structured agenda prepared before each session
- Written summary within two working days of each session
- Available in-person (KL) or online
- Scheduling flexibility around household availability
Process steps
- 1Initial call to understand the household's situation and confirm the retainer scope.
- 2Engagement outline provided in writing; first session date confirmed.
- 3Monthly sessions proceed at agreed dates; agenda sent beforehand each time.
- 4Written summary delivered after each session; retainer closes after the sixth.
Duration: six months from first session date

Service 03
Letter-of-Wishes Reference Workbook
RM 220 — workbook purchase
A self-paced printed workbook for adults who want to write a personal letter of wishes — an informal, non-binding document that records how the writer would like their everyday belongings looked after. The workbook contains structured prompts, written examples for reference, and a dedicated blank section for drafting the letter.
An optional one-hour online review session with a documentation facilitator can be added at additional cost. This session allows the writer to talk through their draft with a facilitator, ask questions about wording, and receive suggestions for clarity. It is not a legal review. The workbook and the letter of wishes produced from it are informational and personal; they carry no legal standing.
What is included
- Printed A4 workbook with structured prompts
- Written examples section for reference
- Blank drafting pages included
- Digital PDF copy included
- Optional 1-hour review session (additional fee, confirm on request)
How it works
- 1Order via the contact form; printed workbook dispatched within 3 working days.
- 2Work through the prompts and examples at your own pace, in your own time.
- 3Draft your letter of wishes in the blank section provided.
- 4Optionally, book the review session to go through your draft with a facilitator.
Dispatch: 3 working days. Self-paced completion; no deadline.
