Terms & Conditions

By submitting an enquiry, signing an engagement letter, making payment, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 years and above who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under Malaysian law. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a household or family group, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Sable Roan provides non-regulated, educational, informational, archival, and administrative support services to households and families. Our current offerings include:

• —Household Calendar & Renewal Tracker — setup and orientation for household administrative tracking.
• —Family Communication Retainer — a structured monthly facilitation engagement for household discussions.
• —Letter-of-Wishes Reference Workbook — a self-paced printed workbook for personal wishes documentation.

Services are available to clients based in Malaysia. Delivery of workbook materials is within Peninsular Malaysia; digital components are available to all clients. We do not provide legal, financial, medical, or any other regulated professional advice.

When engaging our services, you agree to:

• —Provide accurate and complete information relevant to the service being rendered.
• —Attend scheduled sessions punctually or provide reasonable advance notice if unable to do so.
• —Use our materials and workbooks for personal, household, or family purposes only.
• —Refrain from reproducing, reselling, or distributing our content without written permission.
• —Conduct yourself with respect toward our facilitators during all sessions.

You agree not to use our services or materials for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent information shared with us, or to engage in conduct that interferes with the delivery of services to other clients.

All materials produced by Sable Roan — including workbooks, templates, written summaries, tracker formats, and session frameworks — remain the intellectual property of Sable Roan.

Upon full payment, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own personal or household purposes. This licence does not permit commercial use, distribution, reproduction for resale, or modification of the materials.

Written summaries and documentation produced specifically during your engagement belong to you for personal household use. We may retain anonymised records for quality and training purposes only.

All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current service fees are:

• —Household Calendar & Renewal Tracker: RM 380 (one-time)
• —Family Communication Retainer: RM 2,860 (six-month engagement)
• —Letter-of-Wishes Reference Workbook: RM 220

Payment is due as specified in your engagement letter. For retainer engagements, payment schedules will be set out at the time of engagement. We accept bank transfer and other methods as communicated upon confirmation.

Fees paid for workbooks and tracker setup services are non-refundable once materials have been dispatched or the orientation session has been delivered. For the Family Communication Retainer, sessions not attended with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be rescheduled within the same month.

Sessions are conducted online via video call or in-person at a mutually agreed location within Kuala Lumpur, depending on the service. We will confirm the format at the time of booking.

Physical workbooks are dispatched by courier within Peninsular Malaysia. We do not accept liability for postal or courier delays beyond our control.

We will endeavour to maintain scheduled sessions as agreed. In the event we need to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide reasonable advance notice and propose an alternative time at no additional cost.

Sable Roan provides administrative, informational, and documentation facilitation services only. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, or any other regulated professional advice.

Our services are provided in good faith as a practical administrative and communication support resource. We make no representation that the use of our workbooks, trackers, or facilitation sessions will produce any particular outcome for your household or family.

All content is provided for informational purposes. Where professional advice is needed in any regulated field, we encourage you to consult an appropriately qualified and licensed professional.

To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, Sable Roan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Our total aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, communications failures, or any other force majeure circumstances.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sable Roan, its facilitators, and associated personnel from and against any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services or materials, or any false or misleading information provided by you.

Either party may terminate a service engagement by providing written notice. For monthly retainer engagements, a minimum of 30 days' written notice is required.

We reserve the right to discontinue services with immediate effect in cases of conduct that is disrespectful toward our staff, submission of materially false information, or non-payment.

Upon termination, your licence to use any materials already delivered remains in effect for personal household use. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or our services shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If the matter cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to mediation through the Malaysian Mediation Centre before pursuing other remedies. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

These Terms together with any engagement letter or written confirmation constitute the entire agreement between you and Sable Roan regarding the services covered.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights under this agreement to another party without our prior written consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. We will endeavour to notify active clients of material changes via email.

Continued use of our services after updates are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
